During Lana’s studies at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, she started her own company teaching dance and producing dance shows. Over the course of two years, Lana’s shows managed to successfully raise up to $5,000 for non-profits around Vancouver including PACE Society, WAVAW, The Last Door, and RCAP. Lana’s professional interests shifted from a theatre arts focus to a health and wellness focus, and after a diagnosis of PCOS she became interested in healing herself and sharing the resources she’s discovered with as many others as possible! Lana is now organizing the first Blood Cycle Conference, a two-day conference held in beautiful Vancouver, BC, Canada which will connect people from different avenues of menstrual activism: improving health, addressing taboo, improving access to menstrual products. It will serve as a bridge for those who wish to transform their menstrual experience from a negative, shameful and painful one, to a positive, vibrant, and healthy experience. Vivid Menopause will be featured speakers at the conference. Learn more, and support Lana’s Blood Cycle Conference Kickstarter here!
